Only minutes before the tournament is going to start: The 6 tables in the hall.

Manfred Wichmann is happy about the near victory with Prussia (game 6).

And that's how the hall looked like with the players.

Thorsten Hennig, Mark Luta and Louis at the table; in the background there is André Spiegel with a big camera.

Friedrich, the football-shirt (a german national player is called Arne Friedrich), worn by Bernd Preiß (game 4).

Again game 4: Steffen Schröder is moving.
Christian Blattner, Louis and Bernd are his opponents.

Björn Apelqvist as Prussia against Thorsten Hennig, Rodrigo Witzler and Jürgen Pfeiffer (game 3).

Björn comes with an interesting variant: Hanover fights Sweden, Prussia defends against France in Hanoverian spades...

... Rodrigo, however, encounters this with a pure Imperial Army strategy: By ignoring Silesia, the Austrians support Hildburghausen winning the game!

Anton Telle against Andreas Zölitz, Daniel Jensen and Thorsten Hennig (game 10). Anton will be the winner after 23 turns.

In this game, Thorsten is Prussia. He has to struggle hard against Mark Luta, Louis and Michel Lepetit (game 18).

That's the end of Richard Sivél' offensive option: After the decisive defeat against Russia in hearts, Richard's Prussian troops in Bohemian hearts are encircled and eliminated by Jürgen Pfeiffer (game 17)

In game 20, Hanover has very strong spades after only few turns! Wow! That is ...

... simply amazing! And the Prussian player Daniel Jensen is of course very pleased about it.

Andrea Homberg fights against Christian Blattners Russians (game 22).

And in game 21, Marian Leimbach has to smile about a martial dictum of Sascha Rakow. In the end, Sascha will indeed win with France.

Game 24, the last game of the qualification round: Bernd Preiß is the winner after 22 turns with Prussia. Stefan Altmann and Dennis Kelsey are looking not too happy, don't they?
